Wavelab 13 Pro - Montage Envelope Time Lock shortcut not working

Thanks for the 13.0.10 update! I had reported to support that applying a shortcut to Envelope–>Time Lock doesn’t work, and I thought it should be in this update, however it doesn’t seem to be working?

I have applied an unused key combination (Ctrl-T+Ctrl-L for Time Lock and Ctrl-L+Ctrl-L for Level Lock) which toggles Level Lock on/off succesfully but nothing happens when trying the Time Lock combo.

This is a really useful function I use all the time for automations - is it coming in the next update?

The feature is still there, but the key combination has changed.
You have to press both shift and control while moving the envelope handle.

The only slight drawback, but is it really one, is that it also activates the smooth move mode (because Shift is pressed).

Alternatively, you can toggle this switch:

Thanks PG - but that toggle switch is the one I want to apply a shortcut to.

I have applied Ctrl-L+Ctrl-L to Level Lock in Preferences–>Shortcuts, but when I apply Ctrl-T+Ctrl-L shortcut nothing happens when I use that combo:

These flexible keyboard shortcuts are such a powerful feature I use them extensively, mapping to my StreamDeck

Thanks!

This does not works because Ctrl+L is used elsewhere.

I am also using StreamDeck extensively.
One trick I can give you, is to use the Function keys F13 to F24, with or without various modifier keys. You do not need a physical keyboard for these.
For example in Stream Deck setting app, press Ctrl Shift and in the list select F15.
Then this shortcut can be used in WaveLab. This give you tens of shortcuts that will never clash with WaveLab.

Thanks so much PG! I thought I could “stack” shortcuts with “this THEN that” even if the first key combo had been used… because Level Lock did work with that combo.

But I just tried assigning Level and Time Lock to Ctrl-G and Ctrl-H respectively which were free and unassigned - it works as expected for both toggles. I will also follow up your F13-F24 suggestion which is great!

Much appreciated!

By the way, do you know their recent Virtual Stream Deck? This is a great addition.

Yes it’s very cool! But I’m trying to avoid more mouse clicks
The new XL-Plus looks like the business though…

Keyboard Maestro is another good app for stacking shortcuts since WaveLab doesn’t allow it natively like REAPER does.

Thanks Justin - I should have clarified that I’m on Windows, but Keyboard Maestro does look like a good solution!
