WaveLab 13 Request: Restore Double-Row Plugin Toolbar to Avoid Grey Side Panel

Hello PG,

Following up on our conversation from a few weeks ago regarding the plugin toolbar double-row layout, I’d like to raise a question that I assume many other users may also have.

Would it be possible to restore the double-row plugin toolbar layout in future WaveLab updates, as it was available in WaveLab 10, 11, and 12, so that plugins no longer need to open with the grey side panel?

For users who work with many narrow plugins, this grey side panel ends up occupying a significant amount of completely unnecessary workspace.

Like myself, I’ve seen many other WaveLab users across forums and social media reporting the same issue.

I’m attaching two screenshots as examples, using the MeterPlugs Perception A/B plugin — one in WaveLab 13 Pro, and another in WaveLab 12 Pro (without the grey side panel and with the double-row toolbar layout).

I hope this matter can be taken into consideration for future Wavelab updates.

Thank you very much!

Okay, maybe for WaveLab 13.0.30.
And only for non-chain windows, like in your picture.

Thank you very much, PG.

That would be excellent news and very appreciated.

And yes, of course — only for non-chain windows, exactly as shown in the screenshots.

I believe many mastering and editing users who work with multiple narrow plugins would greatly benefit from this option again.

Thanks again for considering it.
