I was working in WaveLab Pro 13 when I opened Steinberg Download Assistant, and it notified me that an update was available and that I needed to close the program. I saved everything, closed the program, installed the update, and when I opened WaveLab again to finish my work, it got stuck at “License granted: WaveLab Pro 13 Features” and froze there without progressing any further. I can no longer open the program. How can I revert the “patch” I installed?
Did you try to restart your computer?
Same problem here. Support told me to rename the config folders. But that doesnt help. Even restarting the computer won’t solve it. Really frustrating after years of no problems with WaveLab.
The only thing start solves the problem is re-installing Wavelab. But that only lasts until I restart Windows (11). Then again it won’t boot but hang at “License granted:…”
WL 13 seems to have a lot of “not normal” WL problems. FWIW
