Wavelab 8 Elements AES-31 export and import

Does anyone know if Wavelab 8 Elements can import and export AES-31 montage EDL files? I can’t find any mention in the user manual. I know that that full Wavelab 8 version can.

(1) Can XML inport/export of montage EDL from WL8 Elements be opened in Wavelab 8?

There is no XML in WaveLab Elements

Somehow, yes. But this feature is not official and not perfect. For instance, selection with mouse editing will be disabled in such a montage.
