WaveLab constantly crashes almost unuseable

Wavelab is constantly crashing - usually when inserting a plug-in on the master section.

I am on the latest version of WaveLab and I believe I have updated all my Waves Plug-ins last night, maybe there is a residue of older versions.

Any suggestions welcome, really struggling to get any work done here…

Ventura 13.2.1
2.9Ghz Quad-Core i7
16GB RAM

Here a some crash logs…
Wavelab Crash Logs.zip (57.8 KB)

Also when working on second monitor mouse clicks to select different windows often don’t work…

All these crashes happen in the Waves plugins, and in the plugin graphics. Please inform Waves.

Philippe

Thanks Philippe - have completely re-installed Waves and all seems good now.

Although would like to get the second monitor issue sorted.

Have been using Wavelab and the same external monitor for about 7 years now. Briefly had the same issue a few years ago but it ‘went away’ has now re-appeared!

Thanks

Also has Customizing the Touch Bar disappeared in 11.2?

Thanks

Please give a concrete example of where to click and what window.

I must say, I don’t have a Touch Bar to test this. I will have to ask someone.

It appears that the menu option under WaveLab Pro 11 (.2) is no longer there.

How’s this?

Wavelab 2nd Monitor Click Issue.mov.zip (3.7 MB)

It works ok on laptop screen - no issues with any other software - I use 2nd monitor extensively.

Thanks!

Clicking within windows is fine - it’s the selection of the window that is the problem - applies to all windows on 2nd monitor.

So apparently, this is when clicking on a tab that the problem occurs. I can’t reproduce this, but I remember one other similar report.
Are you using a standard mouse? What are the resolution of your screens?

I mainly use a Kensington Orbit Wireless Marble track ball, but the same thing happens with the MacBook pro track pad.

Screen is a Dell U2414HB set to 1080p refresh rate 60hz

The same set up and combination I have been using for 7 years.

Thanks for looking into this - it is very frustrating!

Try this:

In the startup.ini file
(found hter: /Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Pro 11/),
and add the following line:

TabSelection=0

Does it help?

It most certainly does!

Brilliant you help is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks!

Anyone got any ideas on this one?
Thanks

Hi PG,
Any joy with this - Wavelab was the only piece of software I used with the Touch Bar but customized it to my usual commands.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
