Wavelab does not start anymore

Dear all,

since last friday WaveLab 11 pro does not start anymore.
i updated all this elicenser, Steinberg assistant, all that stuff…
but when WaveLab 11 starts it shows Licenses valid and than just crashes…
someone has an idea?
before friday it was working great…

Try erasing this preference file:
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Pro 11/Preferences/General.dat

and this folder:
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Pro 11/Cache/Window Config/

Thanks for your fast reply, unfortunately this files i don t have. Also not in the WaveLab package when i open it. The file and the folder are not in the library. There is no Wavelab File at all…

There has to be. I have a feeling you’re looking in the MacHD library and not the user library which Apple now hides by default.

If you hold OPTION while you’re in the “Go” menu of the Mac Finder, the User Library will be temporarily revealed.

I save this location in my Favorites/Sidebar so it’s easier to get to now that Apple hides. it.

Find this for Win 10 (Wavelab11 not starting).
And for Win10 Wavelab works again after erasing:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab Pro 11\Preferences\General.dat
