Hello I already created a ticket at my steinberg account, but have not recieved any response yet. So if someone from Steinberg actually reads this forums, I purchased the update to Wavelab Elements 13 from 12, but when I try to download from the Download Manager, it seems the Wavelab Elements 13 icon points me to download the full version of Wavelab 13. I already tried twice and I know the version the installer is installing is full Wavelab 13 because when I start Nuendo I’m being asked for a Wavelab Ara License, wich I guess its not included in Elements…all the previous Wavelab Elements versions icons point me correctly to wavelab elements installers…
Check on MySteinberg the license.
The installer is the same for all Wavelab versions. The license you have is activated via the Activation Manager.
No its not, there’s different installers, been a wavelab elements user for quite some time now. And the download manager lists specific installers for wavelab elements 12 and 11.
Here’s what Activation Manager shows up:
This is the installer for wavelab elements 13 that download manager points me to:
This is what the download manager for Wavelabs elements 12 points me to:
Notice it says WAVELAB ELEMENTS…this is the same case with Wavelab Elements 11:
so there are different installers for Elements and the regular version…
And this is the message I know keep getting on Activation manager since installing this Wavelab 13 installer
Wich says I do not have a Wavelab ARA license in my account, wich makes me think this installer must be for the full version of wavelab, not the elements…
and I did purchase the correct upgrade, Wavelab Elements 13 from Wavelab Elements V12…
Unlike in the past, there is now a single version of WaveLab to download. Whether pro or element or cast is selected, depends on your license, when launching WaveLab. Therefore I see nothing abnormal in your situation.
You see what @PG1 writes, there is one single installer for Wavelab 13. Just the license decides what edition will be activated.
Ok then why do I keep getting this License for Wavelab Ara not found in my account when I run Nuendo 14? Suffice to mention, I uninstalled wavelab elements 12 from my PC first, then fill the download code In Download manager, was prompted to upgrade my Wavelab Elements 12 license to 13, then proceeded to install Wavelab 13 directly from the manager. That prompt is happening everytime I run nuendo 14 now, wich is pretty annoying…
