I just installed Waveleab last month and it seemed to work just fine. Today I go to load it and I get a popup saying “VST 2 plug-ins are not supported in Apple Native Mode. If you
want to use VST 2 plug-ins, start WaveLab in Rosetta 2 mode”. I have zero VST 2 plugins installed. I click OK and after Wavelab loads all the menus are grayed out. I can’t do anything. The Activation Manager shows it is Activated. When it loads it says “Check license”, “license granted”. I tried reinstalling through the Download Assistant but I still have grayed out menus. I can’t even quit. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like the Startup Assistant is open and WL menus are still working.
While WaveLab is not running, I recommend erasing the preference folder.
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Elements 13/
No change. After deleting the prefs and rebooting, it scanned the plugins, the VST 2 plugin popup came up. Once it fully loaded the state is the same with all menu items grayed out.
OK, I re-installed Wavelab and it is working now.
