I installed WaveLab Elements 7 on Windows 7 Professional N x64. “Windows N” are Windows versions that don’t ship with Windows Media Player. The original WaveLab 7 version that I installed from my DVD worked without problems, but the downloadable update doesn’t run anymore: When trying to launch the executable, it says that WMVCore.dll couldn’t be found. I don’t see why WaveLab would require this DLL, after all I want to edit audio, not WMV videos. Please, make it work again without having to install Windows Media Player.
You need to install Windows Media Player, and it will work.
You efforts to provide us so nice and useful information are pretty good. All these tinny details are made with lot of backgound knowledge.
