I would like to be able to use different audio interfaces for Recording and Playback.
It is a deliberate limitation of Elements that this is not possible, and if not is it something that could be implemented?
Many thanks and Merry Christmas!

On Mac use Aggregate Device:
Combine multiple audio interfaces by creating an Aggregate Device - Apple Support
On Wndows use ASIO4ALL:
Using Multiple Audio Interfaces Together (soundonsound.com)

It’s not just Elements. It’s the same in Pro. And in most programs, afaik. Are there programs that have it “built in”?
I believe Logic Pro and RX allow for separate playback and recording devices. I use an RME AES card so I just have all my converters connected to it and it’s very stable and flexible so I haven’t had a need to try this in WaveLab.
