Wavelab export error "destination folder has an improper format or contains invalid characters"

Hi all. I’m new to Wavelab and have come up against a strange error on my first mastering project.

In the export dialog I get this message when I hit start on the export procedure.
“The destination folder has an improper format or contains invalid characters”

There are only letters spaces and numbers in my file path and all other programs including Nuendo have no problem reading or writing from same folders. How am I tripping up Wavelab here? I’m on windows 11

Generally, this is because you have a space at the end of a name. This is illegal, even if some application might allow it.
If this is not the case, please show your entire path.

There are spaces within the path but no space on the end. Are you saying I can have absolutely no spaces in my file paths??

Heres the path
G:\Highstool Prophers Live 2024 Nuendo\Mixdown\MASTER\16bitRender

No!

I have just tried to save and also render to that path (just changing the driver letter). And there is no problem.
Maybe something was not put in your clipboard operation.
Try to show me a screenshot of the edit field where this path is defined.

I think I understand how to get something done - but I still am not able to save rendered wav files to a folder of my choice on my hard drives . I generally want to export to a clients Google Drive folder that I set up for shares.

If I allow Wavelab to use the ‘AudioMontagh’ contextual folder in the Location windows and /renderings as the output folder I can render files.

If I take that Audio Montagh context folder out and try and save to anywhere else I get the error.

Could be that writing to a google drive directly does not work.

Show me the edit field of your path.

Thanks for your help I was in process of taking photos to send when I think I see that Wavelab is concatenating my file paths together. Strange behavior - but once I clear the entire location field on the render menu and then pick a folder I have success. The concatenated file paths were being hidden on the left side due to their length I think so I didnt notice the concatenation.
