Is there any good reason why WaveLab LE 7 doesn’t have FLAC support?

WaveLab LE 7 is an OEM version with a reduced feature set and functionality.
I recommend the update to WaveLab Elements 7 or WaveLab 7.
Does this really make the difference, for the price of a free codec???!!!
