Wavelab metering during external capture

When referencing processing with external hardware, the meters and the time display are functioning. When actually capturing, they are not. Can they please be enabled during capture? Thanks

When capturing in which way exactly?

when playing out through analog gear and returning back into Wavelab, the meters and time references are active. While actually rendering in the same fashion, no meters or time reference. These are very needed during the capture process.
