Wavelab Newbie - Reaching my LUFS gain

I have been reading many posts and looking at YouTube videos on how to achieve the final gain that you want your mastered track to reach. I have mastered to a sound that I am happy with, now I want to finish at -9.5/10 LUFS. But, hopefully I have this right, I need to keep below -1, whatever my final LUFS gain is. I there an easy way in Wavelab to do this, I seem to be trying to use the “use multiple Limiters procedure” to do this. I am using MASTERIG Limiter and LIMITER in “TRACKS/Additional Effects)”, then Limiter on final “OUTPUT”, is this ok, or not enough. Another question would be what values would I use in the Limiters, start a “0”, the add “1”, then add another “1 and so on. What’s the best method, without distorting.

I am using a single track in Audio Montage

thanks Dave

Hi Dave,
doesn’t the Metanormalizer help under Process?
By the way, which version do you use?

Hello Jonas, 12 Pro, I have looked at the MetaNormaliser, ticked a few boxes but the output LFUS doesn’t seem to change, maybe I’m ticking and choosing the wrong options, ive ticked all the boxes to show the options.

I didn’t use CLIPS as all my Plugins are in the TRACK - Additional Effects Menu, tried the Audio Montage and tried the Master Section Output but nothing happened.

On another Note, using all those LIMITER’s appears to create a lot of compression - i think! , is that right?

My setup windows below

Hi,
so my workflow would be as follows:
Make musical changes to the sound using EQ, limiter, compressor, or whatever, render the file, and then select the desired loudness in the Metanormalizer.
When I use the Metanormalizer and select and confirm a desired volume, the loudness changes immediately; this is immediately visible for larger changes.
Perhaps someone more experienced than me can help a bit better.
