I feel your pain. I like books. Steinberg printed manuals used to be amongst the best.
Unfortunately I’m not sure the online PDF is anywhere near as good as the printed manuals used to be (the last one was for WaveLab 6, I think). You might be wasting your paper.
There are some good commercial video tutorials though.
