Wavelab Pro upgraded from Elements

Hi Folks,

I recently upgraded from Wavelab Elements to Wavelab Pro 9.5

On looking at my ‘C’ drive (SS) it’s getting a little full so I’m clearing or moving some programs. I already moved pretty much all my sample content to other drives.

All I really want to know is, can I safely uninstall Wavelab Elements without affecting Wavelab Pro?

Yes for sure. But you can keep also WaveLab Elements side to side with the Pro version. No problem.

Thanks Philippe, very kind of you to respond.

While I’m here - what is the advantage of running the 2 side by side? I thought the Pro version negated the ‘Elements’!!

I managed to clear enough off of my ‘C’ drive for the time being, so it’s not crucial that I uninstall ‘Elements’ at this time.

It does. But an audio montage file created in WaveLab Elements is not fully compatible with the Pro version.
You can open it with Pro and use it, but not without editing, if you need to burn a CD.
