Not sure if this the right category, but since I’m trying to open the standalone Wavelab Go, which comes with Cubase 15 Pro, I decided to ask here. Correct me if I’m wrong, please?
Point is that the shortcut created on the desktop seems to open Wavelab, but then it stops and the world goes on as if nothing happened! Sometimes, it works (1 out of 5x?) and I can continue. Very annoying. What can I do, please. I already reïnstalled. TIA
Anybody? Steinberg people?
I think Wavelab Go is not a standalone app.
Well, it sometimes opens. Which makes me think it works as a standalone app. I just have to open it 5x before it continues the splashscreen.
And why would there be a shortcut on the desktop if it wasn’t meant to use as standalone?

Looks like this works only within a DAW.
I guess you are right. Maybe it would be a good idea to NOT create a shortcut then? It’s simply confusing and doesn’t do anything, except make idiots like me annoy you with it! Thank you, Marker.
I suggest you use the trial of WL Pro for 60 days and purchase full version, as there is nothing similar or close to full version of WL even though the program has variants such as GO, LE, Elements, etc.
Maybe you are right, the Icon to start the app must not be a part of Go installation unless it is stand alone or has another purpose as in it opens WL inside protools on clicking that icon.
