Dear Sir or Madame,
I would like to ask you if there is any workaround to output some data to an external *.txt file?
If not, is it possible to include such feature to new update for Mac OSX and Windows as well ?
I see there is a difference in outputting for each platform.

Not exactly, but a script can write text into the WaveLab log window and this text can be copied to a text editor, to then save it from there.
