I have a new computer and when I play a 2 bus through a external effect I am getting like this echo which I imply is monitoring issues. On the external effect through the Cubase folder, I clicked the latency button and it detects the hardware and adjusts 19.342 ms but I still hear the monitoring issue.
How do I fix this?
The manual does not have monitoring in the index and on page 46 on External Effects, I could not find anything helpful.
What kind of audio device look for Direct monitoring turn it off?
Check in Software mixer as well the with routing…

Thanks for your assistance. I figured it had to be something with my U Audio mixer page.
I resolved the issue. I had to mute the channels in the Universal Audio mixer where the external gear is running through so it wont be played back twice.
