Did an introduction to mastering for our Music Production students today, using WaveLab. (At our university college they unfortunately do all production work in Pro Tools).
WaveLab is not only a great professional tool, it’s also a great educational tool. To show how the mastering proces can be set up, to learn about LUFS, about measurements and metering, about editing, the make comparisons between tracks, etc, etc .
Nice was also the reaction of one of my collegues: ‘I used to work in Nuendo before I was forced to switch Pro Tools. But when I see Wavelab, I remember why I loved Steinberg products that much’.
So, just some words of love for WaveLab. Still happy with it after some decades of working with it! Thanks @PG1 !
