Waves in blocklist

Hey everyone,
I installed Cubase 13 Elements und own a current Waves license. All the Waves plugins are in the blocklist and marked as VST2 and “no valid plugin”. The restore button which is mentioned in several forums and help sites is not showing below.

I read through every available thread and post and watched every video i could find on the topic. I tried everything imaginable, for four days now and i’m really frustrated. The official support didn’t answer in four days…anyone help me pleeeease?

Think, C13 only supports VST3, are they installed?

No. VST2 still works.

It works now, i got a workaround from waves support.

So what was the “workaround” ?
I’ve never had any trouble with Waves plugins here, on both a Win10 system and a 16" MacBook Pro Max running Sonoma 14.1.2

it’s in here. and, yes its a workaround. i worked with this combination for years, had a lot of issues but never like this

might have been Apple Silicon Mode on Sonoma that is VST3 only?

That is the ONLY situation where VST2 plugs dont work. All my Waves are still good here, VST2 and 3, but I don’t run in Rosetta mode so Cubase is only using the v3s… I can still use them in Ableton Live and the horrible MPC Software just fine.
