Using 32 bit Waves VST3 plug-ins with Nuendo 6.0.6 32 bit. I want to side chain a compressor. Waves has C1, C4, and C6 as “side chain” versions (even in the title), yet I only get a side chain button on C6. Is there a way to use C1 or C4 on a stereo track using side chain?
Simple answer here. C4 doesn’t have a side-chain. You need to make sure you’re using the standard C1 compressor (or standard C1 gate) which will have a sidechain.
