Waves Studio Rack in instruments track Waves v.12 Crashes

Hi everybody,

I updated to Waves v.12 and was using an instrument track. I opened the waves studio rack and it crashed over and over again in Cubase 10.5.20.
When i opened a midi track and access the studio rack from the mixer it works fine. Only when i use a instrument track then it crashes.

Could anyone who has updated from Waves v.11 to v.12 reproduce the problem ?

Hey Martin,

also, it happens when there’s no instruments loaded into the instruments track at all. I did find that if i have a instrument loaded in the instruments track
it does not crash and the waves studio rack opens.

Is it because the studio rack Waveshell for V.11 has not been updated to V.12 and that’s the reason it’s causing
conflict ?
