Wavetable Modes: trying to understand Overlap-Add

Hello All,

I’ve been messing around with the different wavetable modes in Halion 7. I pretty much can understand most of the modes except for Overlap-Add. I like the different characteristics of each mode. I have a vocal sample that is longer than 5 seconds, but when I try to use Overlap-Add, it only allows the use of 5 seconds. Unfortunately, there is no documentation on these modes except the vague, unintuitive explanation in the manual. Any help would be great. Thx

I guess I’m SOL with this forum. Sad that one buys an expensive product and cannot get any support. The mentality of Steinberg is “you gave us the money, figure out the poduct on your own, along with all the multiple bugs we will never fix.” There may be some genuine help on the Steinberg forums, but most of it is reserved for the elite.
