Wavy / across staves / harp gliss

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!

I’m trying to figure out how to reproduce this kind of harp glissando notation.
These kind of thing was pretty simple on Finale with the Graphic Tool but I cannot find a way on Dorico.

Thanks by advance!

Were you hoping for playback or just the notation?

Hey Derrek,
Just the notation

The first think I thought was … creative use of slurs?

Here is a super quick example with slurs.

First input some notes to roughly match the overall shape. Then apply the slurs. After that, hide everything except the slurs and adjust their design in engrave mode!

You can further tweak the tip of the slurs to be thicker for better transitions between them

Wow very creative indeed! Thanks a lot @aquarius55, I’ll try that!

You could also use a single slur with multiple segments, as an alternative.

Can a single slur have multiple segments? I think there are 3 points besides the start and the end.

We all agree that there isn’t a way of doing this with a line?

You increase the number of segments in Engrave properties…

Ha! Wonderful! Thank you I’d missed that! Super nice feature ….

EDIT: this way, and in combination with the adjustment of the start and the end thickness this is a very good substitute for a free hand line tool that at the moment is missing.
