at least 30 seconds before cubase closes, even when no session is open. This seems to have gotten worse with newer versions of CB and I regularly use END TASK instead at this point. This is related to Cubase saving settings when closing? I hope this gets fixed.
It updates its databases, I guess. Bigger version - bigger internal data to maintain.
