Wayward pedal to controller foot pedal

Please someone tell me how to control the Wawa pedal in the guitar amp rack with my controller (Roland A-800 Pro).

My pedal (CC11) is assigned to QC #1 in the studio dialog, but it won’t assign in the midi track QC #1. What am I missing.

Obviously, I have never in 25 yrs. Had to use QC’s
