One would have thought a high-end notation application which had reached version 6 would have got that sorted! I don’t understand why inserting the tie changes the beaming. ![]()
I wonder if the differences stems from 3/8 being a simple triple meter vs. 12/8 being compound quadruple, meaning that the chunk in question falls within the beat in 12/8?
