Weird Issue between Dorico Pro 4 (macOS) and Dorico SE 4 for iPad

Hi,

I’ve installed Dorico SE 4 for iPad and signed in to my Steinberg account, and now Dorico Pro 4 only opens in macOS as Dorico SE 4 too. I’ve even tried signing out and signing in again to my Steinberg account through Steinberg Assistant but I’m still stuck.

Is this a known issue, and how can I fix it? Any hints or insights would be much appreciated.

All the best,
António

The licensing systems used for Dorico for iPad and Dorico on macOS are different, so one won’t affect the other. However, I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “Dorico SE 4 for iPad” as Dorico for iPad is currently version 2.5, and the iPad doesn’t have separate Pro/Elements/SE versions.

If you run the Steinberg Activation Manager on macOS, what does it show you in the list of licenses?

Thank you so much, Richard. As you’ve guessed it appeared as inactive (which it wasn’t before.) As a side note, it didn’t happen to Nuendo or WaveLab Pro (also on my system.)

All the best,
António
