Just for context, I’m very green with Cubase, and on my trial period. I’m coming mainly from Protools, but have also spent a bit of time in Logic.
I’m enjoying Groove Agent and poking in rhythms with the Beat Designer, but I’m experiencing some weirdness when combined with looped playback. If I’m editing or auditioning a part with the insert active, it seems to lose sync when it loops, giving me some really strange and jerky sounds. This doesn’t seem to happen with extremely basic grooves, but it seems to happen without fail on a 64 step 32nd note pattern.
I’m curious if this is user error on my end, a known bug, or even just if there is a better workaround than manually restarting playback every loop.
