I’ve noticed recently that immediately after exporting audio mixdowns from Cubase 6 (and 6.0.2) the ‘mdworker’ process will go crazy. Often eating up 20GB of RAM and maxing out one of the cores. I know that mdworker is related to the spotlight function in Snow Leopard - but why does exporting any audio out of cubase cause it to go so crazy?
Does anyone else have this? I’ve had it on two Macs now!
