Hi all,
not sure if this has been asked before. I have a weird problem as above. Essentially, the note auditioning for SOME of the instruments drop to very low levels, and ONLY in the final section of my score.
The score is around .. say, 250 bars long. THe final section of , say, 50 bars, is a direct restatement of an earlier section in the score. So obviously i just copied and pasted the earlier 50b section to the end of the score. What is weird is that, around say the 235th bar, some of the instruments’ auditioned notes become inaudible (they still sound, but i have to crank up my headphones to max.) [Also to add: the exact same section in the earlier position in the score i.e the originally written section before i copied/pasted over, has no such problem !)
Strange thing is: playback is fine, if i select that instrument , the playback is fine too. Scrub playback also works fine for that section. ONLY the auditioned notes drop out. I’ve tried restarting dorico, rebooting the PC. Still the same.
Any ideas on what “hidden” glitch this could be? It can’t be my playback templates, the rest of the score (and another piece) work just fine.
I’m using Dorico pro 5 and BBCSO Core.
