Weird sound on playing

When I play my project there is a sound like a ship horn and I try so many ways and still the sound is there what can I do to silence?

Is this a file you imported as an XML or MIDI by chance? If so, the issue might be very low notes that act as key switches.

Dorico uses Expression Maps (multiple of which can form Playback Templates) to interface between Dorico and the relevant VST. Thanks for response apparently when I edit my instrument list the trumpets was selected as brass ensemble that’s why the weird sound I’m moving from Finale to Dorico and it’s really hard starting over but thanks

Yes, switching tools as advanced and complex as music notation software is daunting, but I hope it goes well. And remember, we’re here to help when something you’re learning is confusing. I know I’ve been aided many times here!
