What about the Chords Track?

Hi everybody,

Under Cubase 14, is it possible to get an original sound for the chords Track ?.. Is there a way to assign a sound from somewhere ? VST instrument ? FRom my Roland JV 1010 ? Or from something else ? Thank you so muchto tell me how to work !

Hi, I realize that it would be better to separate the Chords Track from the melody track ? I should like to prepare a melody by writing the notes. and having a way to listen to an accompaniment, just to built an impression… If the first melody is played by a clarinet, how do I listen an other instrument for the chords played in the same time ?

Hi, to resume my question thank you for telling me how to separate the sound assigned on the first melody from the sound assigned, if possible, on the “Chords Track” ?

Hi,

Chord Track doesn’t produce a sound. It produces MIDI data.

You can route its output to any MIDI/Instrument Track. By default, the Monitored track is in use.
