I’m currently writing music in Dorico, and I need to compose various variations of playing percussion, rhythm guitar, rhythm banjo, etc. as they say, in a hurry.
I am aware of the existence of patterns in VST plugins that can be triggered using MIDI triggers in Dorico.
For example, there are such patterns in Groove Agent SE. However, there are few of them, quite a few, and only the drum kit is represented there. I need more styles, more choices, and more instruments (besides the drum kit, there’s also orchestral percussion, ethnic, etc.)
The problem is that I don’t really understand VST plugins, and even more so, which VST plugins have patterns. And I’m asking for your help to tell me which VST plugins that have patterns should I look for. I tried to search for them on the Internet, but there are a lot of plugins, and I absolutely do not know which of them have at least some patterns. And I do not know in which VST plugins I can find something similar.
In addition to percussion patterns, I also need patterns for various guitars (including banjos, mandolins, etc.) so that they can play chords in various variations, styles, etc. As far as I know, this is partially present in “T-Guitar” (although I may be mistaken).
In general, I need your help, what kind of VST are there with these very patterns (percussion and various guitars). Where and how should I look for it? What kind of VSTS do you know?
