What’s a common process/error on my part that I may be unintentionally doing that’s most likely causing the event snap point (the little ‘s’ flag) to become dislocated from the actual event start? I never actually move it myself directly.
There is the Pre-record function in Cubase (Preferences > Record > Audio > Audio Pre-Record Seconds). This is recording an audio signal continuously when the track is Record Enable. This results in 1sec (by default) of pre-record signal, before you hit the Record button itself. Then the Snap point is placed at the time, where the real recording started (so you pressed the Record button). So by default, it should be 1sec shifted from the Audio event beginning.
