Cubase has already more features than any other DAW when you look at the interface too many colorfull knobs and buttons are trying to steal your attention,
what it needs now is :
simplicity , human friendly interaction features a more simple screen interface
less visible features more submenus to categorize and hide them
a gentle and professional appeal to the eye, less is more
an out of sight out of mind approach without taking out anything
a total rearrangement of the GUI so that the user will have a relaxed mind and being able to focus on it’s work not fighting / trying to find what he wants
Inspiration is a very delicate matter reduce too much and unnessesary thinking be simple and direct hence more productive and relaxed
