I am using cubase 14 pro n melodyne 5 assistant.
What is the best option to print melodyne to the audio file?

Select the Audio Event. In the Info line > Extension, select Melodyne.

Or “make extension permanent” in the Extension drop-down menu.

Is bounce print inserts n melodyne? I was not sure about that

Thanks, i will try today…

Hi,

Bounce Selection “renders” the processes made by the ARA plug-in (like Melodyne) or any other offline process into a new file, which replaces the old one.

If you want to first render your track including the Inserts and then process this render by Melodyne, go for Render in Place. This will render the source track to a new one, where you can apply Melodyne.

Hmm, thanks.
Its work…
So Bounce audio is the fastest approach with tuning print in more closest n keep it as.
Thanks

This also.

Has there been any improvement in the ARA handling of Melodyne in C14/N14?
I find endless issues with it in N13
Bounce after editing in Melodyne often does not make a new copy, leading to glitches, clicks when editing the part, gain changes have no effect, sometimes bounce results in blank audio… often the file playing back is not the one on the screen or the one i put there 5 minutes ago
Sometimes relaunching Nuendo improves it, sometimes not… it’s by far the buggiest thing I have to deal with.

I hope it’s going to get fixed in N14. Has there been any acknowledgement from Steinberg?

What is the difference between “Make extension permanent” and “bounce selection”?

Sometimes, when using RIP, especially in a VSTi, if you undo it or press Cmd/Ctrl + Z, it stops working, which is why I don’t use it. It already happened to me in C13, and since Steinberg has its way with bugs…

I end up using “make extension permanent” when it comes to Melodyne.

So MEP actually works with Melodyne, @Pablin_Drummer2 ???

Hi, yes, in my side. I am in Mac Sonoma

Which version of Melodyne do you use? Do you observe the often-mentioned ARA behaviour of expanding the CPR size with Melodyne, until the project renders unusable?

Im using the latest one, and assistant version.

What size are we talking about? I haven’t noticed that. The truth is, you have other, more serious problems (in my workflow), but it’s good to know that there are more things that can affect me.
