What is this feature and how do I turn it off? (screenshot)

Can anyone tell me what this symbol is and how I get rid of it to unlink tracks? I’m New to Cubase 9. Last version I was familiar with was 5.

Hi,

These are Grouped Audio Events. To Ungroup them, select them, and use Edit > Ungroup (Ctrl/Cmd + U).
