Just some lazy, idiotic, annoying marketing trend of using portmanteaus instead of genuinely creative thinking… it seemed to kick off at the end of last century in the gossip magazines with things like ‘benifer’ and ‘brangelina’… 
Perhaps like “Con” Volution, but more positive?

well, I feel better now, but at the same time it’s the worst of two possibilities.
It’s like someone is trying to hype a product that everybody who needs to know something about already know what they need to know more or less.
You can’t hype with no substance whatsoever something like Cubase without looking ridiculous and cheesy?
