What to move my sound library (NOT WORKING)

What a clunky install process Steinberg came up with.
My computer died Macbook pro M1 and had my wife’s same model.

I did a clean OS install and every other app went in with no problem.

Dorico did not. On my old computer 3/4 of the time the S.D.A did not work and I did a direct download (much easier), this time I tried S.D.A., Dorico went ok. I do not like to store sample libraries on my system drive. I used S.D.A. to down load some of the libraries. Then I used S.L.M. to try and move them to and external drive. It kept failing. Where the installer downloaded and left the files is User~download~steinberg~osx. I’m pretty sure this is incorrect. Any Idea how to correct this and move them to the external drive. Really clunky install software. Not even NI is this bad. Tks

In download assistant: press the Settings wheel. Modify setting for Download directory: It will remember your choice.

That did not work, must of tried it 5x. I did figure out from to a earlier post.

You let it download to where ever it wants then copy it to the external drive, delete the old folder. With everything closed, double click on one to the files in each folder and S.L. launches. A dialog box opens up and one of the choices is register @ current localtion. Had to do it a couple times on a few lib., but all is working now TY.

Sal, that’s good to hear.
