What would cause hiss only in Cubase 8?

If I close Cubase, the hiss is gone… From the time I start Cubase till the time I close I have a rather loud static noise. It only happens in Cubase and it is not part of the signal because when I bounce the song, close Cubase, play in wmp it sounds fine no hiss.

Any suggestions?

No.

It’s very odd.

The flanger in my fx channel seems to cause issue. Even when removed still there just quiter.

Could you send screenshot of your MixConsole with Inserts tab open?
