What would you like to see in Cubase 15?

Being able to have slightly variation of background line per line. For example I want to create a midi event in the circled zone.
On a large screen there’s no way to know if I’m in the right line unless creating the midi event and reading the name. With alternate colors for the line corresponding to the track that would be a real gain saver.

I am not sure whether or not I understood what you meant in the first place.
However, there are some things you can do to improve your experience:

1. You can highlight the borders of a selected event in Cubase 14. Preferences/Event Display/Highlight Borders of Selected Event.
2. Use a much bigger colour palette in the project and set is as your default. Set the preferences up in a way that each newly created track gets the next colour of the colour palette (e.g. eight different shades of orange).
3. Use the Zoom functionality to enlarge the tracks you have in mind and use a key kommand to Undo the Zoom.

There are lots of ways to approach this problem. Given that I haven’t misread your post…
