What's the best way to create time signature subdivisions text?

Hello,

I want to create a text indication of the time signature subdivision I’m using. I’ve duplicated default staff text (to show in all staves) but the vertical spacing is too close to first staff. As I don’t want to change the vertical spacing of all this text on engrave mode (there’s a lot of them) I’d like to know if there is a better alternative to this.

Also, the default staff text is related to System Objects: in my case the woodwind and strings are selected but there’s a way to override this and use this text only in first staff?

You can’t I’m afraid influence which staves system-attached text will appear on independently from other types of system items, though this is something we expect to change in future.

Because Dorico doesn’t have a built-in feature for this, I don’t think you have much option but to add these markings via text.
