PS. Please don’t say no before you have tried it. Of corse we are talking more advanced IT management here. Maybe not suited in a Cubase forum.
So why don’t you discuss these matters in one of the Technet forums etc?

For DAW uses, most things discussed in this thread has no or less importance (nothing for an average Cubase user to worry about). A lot of RAM is great though :slight_smile:

As technology improves I believe it is useful to have a basic knowledge, hence my posting on this matter but as stated this is in hardware not software as you appear to be suggesting.
