When burning an audio CD, Finalizing box stays on screen after CD is ejected for up to a minute

For seemingly forever, when burning a CD from a montage, the cd will burn and eject and there will be a message box pop up that says it is finalizing the disk. This can stay on the screen for maybe up to a minute after the CD has ejected. This slows down the process for burning multiple copies of a CD. Is there a reason for this delay and is there a way to get rid of it?

This depends on the driver activity. WaveLab waits for a signal from the driver. I don’t know why it is so long in your case.

What version of WL are you using???

I am using WL13 Pro but it has been this way as since 11 Pro or earlier, not sure. It just seems to be taking longer these days to finalize. Perhaps my computer?
