When I import .wav sometimes they got musical mode on: why?

Hello-

I don’t know why, sometimes, when people pass me a folder with their .wav files to mix, I import them into the project (I make sure to be matched with bpm and bit rate project settings) and it happens that they have the musical mode ON. So that I have to open each audio file and deselect the musical mode. This is not a big problemm. I just would like to understand why.

Well if they came from a Cubase project & had the mode on there, it would still be on. Also Acidized wave files (and I suspect others) also have musical mode on.

You don’t need to turn them off individually. In the Pool just select all of them and click the box.
