When I open a .SLP file, work area gets white before showing project

I remember back in time, that Cubase also did this on some occasions.
Not that it doesn’t work loading the project, it just doesn’t look pretty when all objects a drawn / screen is being build.

I think it’s a limitation of suddenly using OpenGL within the Qt framework (upon which SL is built). That being said, that OpenGL requirement will likely be removed in favor of DirectX with SL12.

Would that work for Mac users? I know DirectX only as a very Microsoft thing.

Sorry I was refering to the Windows version indeed. On macOS, the next SL is likely to use Metal instead of OpenGL.

I remember back in my C# programming days, that you could turn off screen updating on a control, when drawing in it haha :smiley:

But again, after seeing what you wrote, it might not be that easy to fix it :slight_smile:
