This is so frustrating! When I try to turn ON automation for a track i have written (Organ OUTRO at the top), the red and yellow Mute and Sound buttons both turn on, so that I hear no sound at all! I have no idea why, but I really want the automation to work 
Any ideas what I can do to fix this??
It does work, but it looks like you have written mute automation to the track.
Here are the commands to see and learn in the Automation section of the Key Commands.
I have muted parts of the ORGAN track, yes. The problem is that I have turned on automation for other parts, yet I am unable to hear any automation. The red S and yellow M are both turned on at the same time.
Any ideas why this is the case? Did i not understand your answer?
