When recording MIDI , disable other CC?

Hello:
The pitch and modulation wheels on my keyboard are not working properly, when recording on the keyboard, the signal is always output incorrectly to Cubase.

Is there a way to set Cubase to only record notes when recording MIDI and disable other CC?

Hi,

You can filter out any type of MIDI data in the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter.

…and it would look like this:

I sometimes like to use user postings as opportunities to test different features on my end, even if I don’t use them - in those cases I’ll normally just keep my pie hole shut and let the pros answer, but in this case I wanted to try the Midi Insert “Transformer” function to see if I could just create a track-based midi insert to DELETE any CONTROLLER value of 1. After saving my preset, I deleted the one track since it wasn’t working as expected, and upon deletion C14P crashed. I’ve attached my zipped IPS file here, but also submitted it to the team with the anonymous UUID of 60ED7570-5389-E869-8372-B19C1DDD16E6:

Cubase 14-2025-02-27-075132.ips.zip (21.0 KB)

Crash aside, in general, the MIDI “Transformer” insert could also accomplish the same thing on a track (or even project) base, correct?
